The Chantry is all but destroyed so maker help them, the templars have gone rogue and joined the latest world ending disaster along with the grey wardens in every bad decision you could choose.
Perhaps when all the trouble settles down and Corypheus is dealt with, it'll be more obvious. But for now, it seems as if it's just another problem on top of many.
